Costa Allegra's panoramic windows create a sense of light and give a unique window on the world. A stunning wall of glass provides the Flamenco ballroom and Montmartre restaurant with magnificent horizon-wide sea views. Inside, the style is contemporary – bright colours blend with a cheerful decor, inspired by great painters such as Gaugin, Degas and Modigliani. And in the public areas, there is Piazetta Allegra, where friends meet to decide whether to make a dash for the Monte Carlo Casino, to have a drink in the Murano Bar, visit the theatre or go to the glass-domed Crystal Club Disco for dancing under the stars. For sun and sport, Costa Allegra has a well-equipped fitness centre surrounded by glass and outside, you will find a swimming pool and three Jacuzzis on the spacious sun deck.

As tall as a 20 storey building and just under 300 metres long, Costa Atlantica has a surface area 20 times the size of the Olympic stadium in Rome. And just as impressive is the attention to detail throughout the ship. The names of the decks are inspired by the Italian film director Federico Fellini, with tributes to his art: from the entertaining “Dolce Vita” photos to the original sketches of the film by artist Milo Manara. On board the Atlantica cruise is the Caffè Florian,a faithful reproduction of the famous cafe in St Mark's Square in Venice. The Club Restaurant is particularly stunning, located in the highest part of the ship, under the glass ceiling with a view up to the sky, and connected to the lower deck by a glass staircase.

Majestic and modern, you will be greeted by an amazing sculpture by the great artist Arnaldo Pomodoro. The Trattoria Buffet is a great place to eat al fresco on the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, with a teak floor and a white canopy providing shade from the sun. The heart of social life onboard is Piazza Navona and the Puccini Ballroom – places to meet, dance and be entertained. For evening entertainment there is the Colosseo Theatre, on two decks, decorated with a mosaic based on the designs of Emilio Tadini.

Aboard Costa Europa, as its name suggests, the atmosphere is one of class with refined international taste; there is privacy to be found in the many intimate places and sunshine on the outside decks. There are elegant lounges and cafes, among them, the very atmospheric Argo Lounge and the Delo Cognac & Cigar Bar. As for entertainment, there is a Theatre, a Disco and a glittering Casino. There is also an extraordinary art collection on board the Europa ship, ranging from antiques to works by Flemish artists, Chinese bronze sculptures and a 17th Century ship cannon. But it is perhaps the areas dedicated to outdoor pursuits that will grab you the most, notably the swimming pool deck with a retractable roof and a multi-purpose sports court for tennis, basketball and volleyball.

An extremely comfortable and sophisticated Costa Cruise ship, inspired by the great Italian ocean liners of the past: ex, Vulcania, Conte di Savoia, Raffaello. Everything about the Costa Fortuna is dazzling, enchanting and entertaining. The Buffet Restaurant pays tribute to Christopher Columbus and navigation and extends outside around two pool decks. The stern pool can be enjoyed in all weather with its retractable glass roof. The main lido deck will astonish you with its exceptional space and design. And what about the spacious and well-equipped gym, with a whirlpool right in the middle? And if that was not enough, the sauna and steam room have views overlooking the sea.

The Costa Marina has a unique continental look and style that offers a breathtaking view of the world. A glass enclosed roof spanning a three deck atrium cover. A slanted wall of glass, the surface of which a waterfall rushes to replenish a beautiful pool. A transparent dome that lets the sky pour into the nightclub by day and become a sea-going planetarium by night. A restaurant with wide-windowed views of the sea and a ceiling reminiscent of ancient Italian palaces. Every corner of the Costa Marina seems to bring the outdoors in, infusing this ship with an unexplainable energetic character.

Imagine the most thrilling music of all times and transfer it to a ship that encapsulates all that is best in Costa cruising. The result is Costa Pacifica, a combination of wonderful music and supreme elegance. The music, played and listened to in every public area on board, has inspired the ship's design, each area characterised by a different type of music. The secret of Costa Pacifica is simple: a unique compilation of the best offered by our four earlier ships: Serena, Concordia, Magica and Fortuna. |

In Italy, dining is always a celebration which explains Costa's superb cuisine. Meal times are important; it is essential to have a pleasant environment, the right company and a smiling, attentive waiter nearby plus good quality wines to challenge connoisseurs! All of this is possible on a Costa cruise: enjoy breakfasts and lunches in the relaxing atmosphere of the ship’s buffet. With fresh pasta, authentic Italian meals and more, you can choose to dine indoors or al fresco. The main restaurant is the place to meet in a formal setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Choose from early or late sitting to enjoy traditional Italian cuisine, recipes of international style and meals inspired by the places visited.
For the health conscious, the Spa menu offers low fat, low carbohydrate, low calorie and low cholesterol courses. Available daily in the traditional restaurant during lunch and dinner. Caesar salads, fresh fruit, made to order sandwiches and tempting desserts are all just a phone call away with Costa’s 24hour room service. And what would an Italian style cuisine be without authentic Italian pizza?
For alternative dining, you can indulge with a sumptuous menu, fine wines and exquisite preparation in one of the speciality restaurants.
Family fun guaranteed!
Cruising Italian Style is great fun for our younger guests! And parents can relax knowing that their children are under the supervision of our qualified team of staff and in the company of Squok, our Fun @ Sea mascot.
Fun @ Sea is the special onboard programme for all our young cruisers and every day the Fun @ Sea newsletter lists all the normal daily activities plus special themed dinners. And every afternoon a snack is served in a reserved area of the Buffet restaurant. ‘Kids Club’ gives 3-6 year olds lots of fun with arts and crafts, story time and a kids own fancy dress party.
Junior Club is the perfect hideout for 7-12 year olds with treasure hunts, mini water Olympics competition, plus junior aerobics and jogging. Teenagers can also have fun on a family holiday with Teen Club for 13-17 year olds. We have sports and fitness activities, games and tournaments, percussion lessons, micro magic and music at the popular ‘Rock Hour’ in the disco.
Family accommodation is available on most ships with cabins to accommodate up to four people, and on many ships we offer a choice of interconnecting cabins for larger family groups.
Festive nights
Nights on board are full of entertainment and surprises. Choose between the theatre or casino, a cafe with live music or a quiet lounge where you can enjoy an espresso after your meal – it is up to you.
Every night after dinner, international artists perform a live show in our elegant onboard theatre. The ‘Today’ daily programme will tell you what is on each night: variety show, cabaret, or musical spectacular, even aerobics or magicians. Have a drink in fine company at one of the many bars or take a moonlit stroll on deck under the stars.
One of the greatest attractions is the casino, with all its temptations. Sparkling and full of lights, it is a space where you can try your luck on the roulette wheel, blackjack tables or slot machines, luring you in with the tinkling of their chips. If you enjoy other sounds you will find your preferred choice of music in one of the lounges: Latin American, easy listening? There is something for everyone.
The disco is open for you to dance the night away and our dancers will entertain you with themed evenings to make it even more electrifying.
